On-demand service staff at Pincho Natiohn Lahti (weekend work)
Together with your coworkers, you are Pincho’s face outwards, together you are responsible for making sure all the guests will enjoy a wonderful restaurant experience.
As a waiter in our restaurant, you are the guest's and the head waiter's right hand. You should have good knowledge about how to use the app and on your own and with your colleagues be able to solve problems that will come up in the everyday service. Knowledge about the food and drink menu is also important, so that you can give recommendations to the guests and also answer questions about taste and allergies.
We will provide you with the training and knowledge you need to be a successful waiter, but we also expect you to ask questions, take initiative, and do your best to make sure we provide the very best service and experience for our guests.
What expected of you
- Show up in time and look representative and ready for work
- Have knowledge of our menu, products and concept
- Have good knowledge about the app’s functions, and help guests that are struggling to order/need assistance
- Help and serve guests when they ordered food and beverages
- Create a strong, lasting relations with our guests
- Have some knowledge about the restaurant system, so you can assess the head waiter when needed
- Knowledge about emergency exits, fire routines and other safety matters
- Be able to have your own "zone" during service
- Together with colleagues, assure the best service and quality for the guests
- Finnish language skills, min. B1
Main work tasks
- Follow guests to table and explain the app in a friendly and clear way
- Making sure guests are pleased during their meal, asking them questions about taste, if they need something, and how they are doing etc.
- Clear away tables from empty plates, planks and glasses
- Help out in the washing room, bar and kitchen when needed
- Unpacking of goods
- Be accessible for your guests at all times, answering questions, help them carry food and drinks and just see the guests
- Fill up water and cutlery stations and keep them clean
- Take payments
- Say hello to new guests and goodbye/thank you to guests leaving the restaurant
- Clean tables good after guests leave and make ready for the next guests
- Help keep the restaurant representative for Pincho regarding toilets, popcorn and napkins on the floor, etc.
- Cleaning of the restaurant’s fixtures, machinery, storage spaces and changing rooms
